This step-by-step guide shows you how to use AnyIdea Foresight to get from general trend analysis to specific, data-driven answers in just a few steps.

Transform data into decisions. Transform data into understandable insights and make the right decisions. Discover in five steps how you can create the foundation for your next innovation successes with AnyIdea Foresight.

Step 1: Explore Global Macro-Trends

‍Start your foresight process with general Macro-Trends. This will give you an overview of the major global developments affecting all industries.

• How it works: Enter a keyword that is relevant to you in the trends section, e.g., "Energy" or "New Work".
• How it benefits you: You get an instant overview of major trends and see real-world examples of the signals driving these trends.

Step 2: Analyze the Industry Environment

‍Next, zoom in on your immediate industry environment. The Industry Scout shows you what's trending and happening specifically in your industry or related industries.

• How it works: Select an industry from over 140 predefined ones.
• How it benefits you: You can see the most relevant trends for the selected industry at a glance and know what is currently driving it.

Step 3: Find Targeted Answers with AI Scouts

‍Now it's time for your specific questions. An AI Scout is your personal, data-based scouting assistant.

• Data-based trend scouting: Formulate an open question like "Latest developments in energy & urbanization". The AI-supported analysis discovers relevant, data-based trend clusters and opportunities and provides you with an overview of the most significant developments in this area.
• Concrete solutions: Ask a specific question such as “Sustainable materials for water pipes” to find suitable micro-trends, start-ups, research, etc.

💡 Tip: In both cases, you have the option to easily refine and optimize your results. To do so, go to an AI Scout and enter your question. You can exclude certain topics with “Exclude results...” or further focus your question on a topic or technology with “Mores results...”.

Step 4: Manage & Evaluate Results‍

The next step is to capture, structure, and prioritize your discoveries to keep a clear overview.

• Collections: Save the most relevant trends, signals, and opportunities thematically in Collections. This allows you to build your own personal knowledge database on strategic search fields, have everything available in one central location, manage content flexibly, and collaborate with colleagues.
• Trend Radar: Evaluate the most important trends according to individual criteria. These trends are located in the Trend Radar, clearly visualized, and managed accordingly. You can recognize the relevance, potential, urgency of trends and see which trends require action.

Step 5: Discover Opportunities & Develop Ideas

The decisive step from scouting and analysis to action:
Once you have identified promising trends, take a look at the opportunities identified by your AI scouts or already stored in your collections.
You can derive concrete solutions and initial ideas from them, generate ideas with the AnyIdea AI, or use their valuable impulses as inspiration and starting point for new, targeted idea campaigns and innovation challenges. This allows you to activate the knowledge of your entire organization and transform strategic insights into real innovations.

💡 Tip: In each trend detail, you already can find matching micro-trends or startups that represent existing, real, and market-oriented solutions. Get inspired by what's possible!
