Collections

Use collections to store and monitor important discoveries, such as trends, opportunities, startups, patents, etc. This makes it easier to access and organize your collected information on important topics.

What can collections be used for?

1. Strategic innovation and search fields: Store important trends and signals centrally in Collections, manage them in a structured way, and monitor them.
2. Team or department-specific topics: Use collections to centrally collect relevant data for departmental or team internal projects and topics.
3. Startups and deal flow: Use collections to map your investment focus, e.g. energy storage, digital health, etc., scout and save interesting startups.
4. Gather existing solutions for current projects: Save micro-trends, relevant companies, patents, etc., which can directly support and enrich ongoing projects.

How are collections created?

Collections can be created in two ways:

1. When saving a trend or signal: Is there no or no suitable collection available for a trend or a signal? Click on the bookmark icon and select “Create collection.” Describe it and save the selected content directly in it. When you save trends, you also have the option to mark them directly for later evaluation and inclusion in a trend radar.
2. In the Collections menu item: By clicking on “Create collection”.

Can content be stored in multiple collections?

Yes, a signal or trend can occur in multiple collections. When you click on the bookmark icon, you can see in which collections the content has already been saved. When you click on ”save”, the content is saved in an existing collection, while clicking on “saved” the content will be removed from the collections again.

What happens to content that I saved before collections existed?

Trends and signals that you saved before the release of Collections will be assigned to the automatically created Findings collection. From there, you can distribute the content to your own collections.
