Innovation Projects

Based on the evaluations submitted for an idea, a classification is automatically suggested LINK Idea Portfolio - Classification of Ideas. This can be seen in the list and portfolio view and in the detailed view of ideas.

For example, are incremental ideas, or even low-hanging fruits simple improvements with great benefits, which should be implemented quickly (few states and gates). Radical ideas On the other hand, they are more resource and time consuming and should therefore be worked out in more detail (more statuses and gates).

You've decided to implement an idea. Congratulations!

Go into implementation and initiate an innovation project.

1. Go into a campaigning
2. Select the Ideas tab
3. Click on a idea
4. Button Create a project, at the end of the evaluation area

If an idea is implemented, all existing data and information from an idea is transferred to a project. The idea is automatically assigned the status “Project.”

The proposed classification can be changed manually. The “Incremental” classification provides for fewer statuses and gates (rapid implementation), while the “Radical” classification provides for more statuses and gates (more checks and approvals and therefore slower implementation). In addition, you can set a date for each status when this status is to be achieved.

In the Realization module, you will find a company-wide and holistic visualization of all innovation projects, including classification, progress and due dates.
